World Communication Day: 26 April 2013 | 1 LOVE 1 WORD
Please be informed that the GD students and staffs will be celebrating World Communication Design Day 2013, this Friday, 26th April 2013.
I would like to extend the invitation to all staffs to attend the various activities and talks line up for the day.
Speakers include the Chairman of MRM - Professor Ahmad Haji Zainuddin, Mr
Martin Bradley + partner, and Mr Tintoy Chua. There will also be a digital
illustration demonstration by Mr Zid. Please refer to the Agenda of WCDD
2013 celebration at KBU.

School of
Design presents a Fashion Show, which will be held on Friday 19th
April 2013 at 10.30am in the White Canvas Gallery, KBU foyer. All KBU Community
are cordially invited to attend this special event.
The Fashion Show entitled “Textile Print Delights”
is the finale event and marks the end of the two weeks Orientation Project
which started from the 9th to 18th April 2013. This
project involved the new students of these programmes; Foundation in Art and
Design, Diploma in Interior Design and Diploma in Interactive Design.
During the Fashion Show, students will creatively parade
a range of fabric products such as bandanas, scarves, tote bags, wall hangings
and t-shirt designs. These final outcomes are from their exploration and
experimentation of tie & dye and printmaking techniques. They have created
interesting motif and pattern designs on cotton fabrics and turn them into
wearable products.
There will be an Auction Session after the Fashion
Show, for those who are interested in purchasing these beautiful products.

appreciated.
