School of Design presents a Fashio Show, which will be held on the 18th April 2014 at 10.30am in the white canvas gallery, KBU foryer. All KBU Community are cordially invited to attend this special event.
The Fashion Show entitled "Batik Delights" is the finale event and marks the end of the two weeks Orientation Project which started from the 8th to 17th April 2014. This project involved the new students of these programmes; Foundation in Art and Design, Diploma Interactive Design and Diploma Interior Design.
During the Fashion Show, students will creatively parade a range of fabric such as table coverings, scarves, tote bags, wall hangings and t-shirt design. These final outcomes are from their exploration and experimentation of Batik techniques. They will be creating interesting motif and pattern designs on cotton fabric and turn them into wearable products.
There will be an Auction Session after the Fashion Show, for those who are interested in purchasing these beautiful products.
