Graduation Showcase: Sequence '11 - Discover the Posibilities

An introduction to Sequence '11

Sequence'11 is a Graduation Showcase of final year students' work for the BA (Hons) Interior Architecture & Design and BA (Hons) Graphic Design programmes of Nottingham Trent University, UK, franchised to and conducted at the School of Design , KBU International College.

This year Sequence will take you on an exploration of the concept geometry. Geometry is universal, structured and modular. Using only the basic shapes, we are able to create almost infinite permutation of patterns, designs and structures. This means that there are endless innovative and posibilities in our design, as long as we endeavor to keep discovering them.

We see geometry not only as a design thinking tool, but also as a reflection of our journey as students. Just any 3-dimensional object can be developed from a 2-dimensional shape, we began our design education by  learnung the fundamentals of art and design. We were introduce to critical and creative thinking, and were later encouraged to build upon these skills through a variety of projects and essays. Since then, we have grown into graduates that we are today, equipped with the skills and knowledge that gives us the confidence as design profesionals, who are ready for the working world.
