In order to encourage all of us to live a little green, students are encouraged to develop and design a product or installation that inspired from the theme “Green It Yourself”.
Student at all levels(Level 1-3) are to work together to complete this submission as part of the introductory/warming-up project in the beginning of the academic year. Students in level 3 are to lead and guide the others to make this project a success. Based on the theme given, the groups are
to interpret and develop their own conceptual approach and develop the design into the required installation/model and presentation submission.
Each group are to present the proposal and submit the completed Installation, (located at the Level 3 courtyard according to group allocation).
This installation is going to be named “Vertical Garden”. The installation has to be in modular sizes, with overall installation between 6’ to 8’ height and 8ft to 12ft length. The group is to get their own plants/pots to show that the installation work. Overall has to be user-friendly and aesthetically pleasant, as it need to have commercial value. It need to also flexible, can be used in both indoor or outdoor, and easy to assemble and dissemble. Overall it must be low maintenance, i.e. watering and
drainage issues. Recycled material and green materials are highly suggested.
