Global warming is the hottest topic is worrying business organisations as well as the general public. Companies are changing the way they do business while society is altering their lifestyle in an attempt to save the planet. About the speaker:

Jeffrey FK Phang is their chair person of Friends of Kota Damansara who have advocated for the cnservation of the KD forest and succeeded in gazetting it as forest reserve in 2010. He is an Asst Professor in Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman teaching Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethnics. he is also the Vice-President of the Malaysia Nature Society and an Assessor for NACRA by Malaysia institute of Accountants.

Being the latest trend in building industry, Vertical Green Wall is all about how we maximise the area of green lungs by applying landscape vertically. Being outside the box, architects and designers struggled to understand and eventually surrendered to their imagination. Myths, rumours and disappointments filled the gap of imagination thereafter. 
 
In this short session, we will point out the essentials of buildung up a Verticle Green Wall in particular Trellis System. As a market operatot, we shall share and discuss our real life applications, failure, research and success. From Europe to Malaysia and other tropical countries, you shall see how Verticle Garden can adapt into local architecture.

Vesta Inovas Display Sdn. Bhd. is a company which specialise in wire ropes material. With the expertise and experiences gained from loads of projects from past decade, they tried to analysed, develop and manipulate designs using wire ropes. Speaker: IR Alan Woon, from Industronics Bhd


An introduction about IR Alan Woon

ALAN WOON TIN KEK joined Industronics in 1992 and is the Senior Manager of Market Development Division. He holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (Hons) from the University of Birmingham, UK and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Nottingham, UK. He is a member of the institute of Engineers Malaysia and a registered Professional Engineer in Malaysia. He has been deeply involved engineering design, project management, marketing and development experience in the electronic display industry.
A little introduction about the talk:

The talk will generally centre around the role of LEDs in Green Technology and how the business landscape and applications evolved to accommodate this.
